Here’s the brief rundown on what’s going on with my books.

Two events happened in the months between November 2018 and August 2019.

First, in November 2018, I pulled the books I had published with JMS Books, including the Hat Trick series which I planned to revise and re-release. I also wanted to consolidate my publishing footprint and republish the shorts and novellas myself.

Then in August 2019, I made the difficult decision to leave Dreamspinner Press. This resulted in not only stopping work on the Hat Trick series revisions (which had been contracted with DSP), but I also pulled the Codename: Winger seriesThe Hockey Player’s Heart and various novellas and shorts off the market. Despite temporarily reducing my back catalog to four self-published novellas, this was the right choice for the long term.

Will (my husband and business partner) and I are building the plan on how we’ll move forward.

A couple of things I can say: We expect to get The Hockey Player’s Heart re-published in late 2019 or early 2020. You may also see a couple of hockey-based shorts come back out. In addition, I’m working on a brand new hockey romance for release in March 2020. You’ll hear more about that in the coming months.

I’ve made the extremely difficult choice to hold the YA books for now. I’d like to find a publisher home for Codename: Winger and Hat Trick. Finding a publisher who not only does an excellent job with YA but might also be interested in second editions looks like a tough road. I want Theo as well as Simon and Alex to have a good home so I’m not going to rush the process. Plus, I need to focus on getting the romance side fully up and running again.

As I have news about re-releases, I’ll post about them and make sure the word gets out.

Thank you for your support as I work to get the books back out there!
