cyclelogo_bolder150In September I’ll head back to the East Coast to participate again in Cycle for the Cause: The Northeast AIDS Ride that benefits the HIV/AIDS Services offered by the LGBT Center in New York City. So far, in six years, I’ve raised over $20,000 and I want to add significantly to that this year as I return on the crew side of the ride this year.

There are a few ways you can help the cause:

  • Buy a copy of Bicycle Built for TwoI donate all my royalties for the sale of this short story to Cycle for the Cause. For just a little bit of money, you get something to read and add funds to the cause.
  • Make a donation to my ride page. It’s quick and simple, and it’s tax deductible. You’ll see on that page as well the important services your donation supports.
  • HTBooksC4CIf you make a donation of $100 or more (and you live in the U.S.), I’ll send you signed paperbacks of the Hat Trick trilogy. That’s the three novels, which also includes the three short stories. I don’t often give away the paperback set, but this cause is more than worth it to me. All you have to do is donate on my ride page and then send me an email to jeff@jeffadamswrites.com with your mailing address so I know you want the books. This offer runs through Sunday, September 19 (the last day of the ride) and I’ll get books in the mail by the end of October.

Regardless of how much you donate, rest assured your money is immediately put to good use by the LGBT Center to help those living with HIV/AIDS as well as educating on prevention.
