Summer’s been cooking a lot of the country this recently (even where I live in costal Northern California has been hotter than usual). Something else hot is the JMS Books Heat Wave series that takes a heat wave and turns it into a reason for steamy romance. My installment in the eighteen book series debuts today!

This was a fun story to write since I set it in Tuscaloosa, where I lived from fifth grade until a couple years after college. It’s set in present day and makes use of places I know. While the settings are real, the story isn’t. In this erotic romance (yes, there’s sexy content here, so it’s for 18 and older only), grad student Ethan is hating the heat wave big time. He’s just trying to get through it by focusing on teaching and his thesis. He ends up meeting Marcus, however, and they start steaming things up in a different way. Can Ethan and Marcus last after the heat wave is over?
