This week we revisit our interview with Casey McQuiston from May 2019. It’s the perfect way to get ready for the Red, White & Royal Blue movie adaptation that hits Amazon Prime Video on August 11. Casey shares the inspiration for the book, how it changed during the 2016 election cycle, and some of the tropes and pop culture influences that are in the book. They also talk about the movie, which had been optioned just a few days before the interview.
