Since Jeff has done nothing but gush about Perry Moore’s Hero, I cracked the spine on it last night. Around page eighty-seven I put it down. I doubt I’ll be picking it back up. Life is just too short to slog through a book you’re not enjoying (even if your husband thinks its the best thing ever).
A quick note on something I have been enjoying, USA’s Burn Notice. The spy show is funny, smart and I adore the cute (and charmingly snarky) lead character played by Jeffrey Donovan. The season finale is this Thursday and USA will be rerunning most of the episodes this week leading up to it. I set our trusty DVR to catch most of them since I only discovered the show last Tuesday.
