Yesterday was the first complete Broadway in Bryant Park I’ve seen this year. The line up was hard to pass up… Current favorites Next to Normal and Burn the Floor along with The Lion King and off Broadway fare from The Marvelous Wonderettes and The Fantasticks. Lots of video to share! There’s some Next to [...]
We had some very lovely snowfall this afternoon. Right around 1 the sky opened up with some of the largest snowflakes I’ve ever seen (can you say mutant snowflakes?). I went up on the roof of the office building and shot some video and you can see some of these super large flakes for yourself. [...]
As Will wrote on Tuesday, we were out protesting tonight against the passage of California’s Prop 8 tonight along with several thousand (reports put the turnout at 7,000-10,000) of NYC residents. The protest started at the Mormon Church on 65th Street & Columbus Avenue (across from Lincoln Center) and marched down Broadway to Columbus Circle. [...]

Unfortunately, the limits on my Flip Video’s battery life were finally reached so I don’t have any of Gypsy or Mary Poppins to share. But, what I do have from the other three shows is good stuff. Going out [...]

I shot a lot of video and got it edited down this afternoon. First up, scenes from the sound check. Starting around 7am, they started doing the sound check [...]
It was another beautiful lunch time in Bryant Park today (sunny, 91, low humidity). This week’s lunchtime Broadway concert featured Avenue Q (unfortunately I got there a bit late and didn’t get to film any of Q), a showing coming to Broadway this fall called Pure Country, Mamma Mia, The Phantom of the Opera and [...]
