A Hockey Debut
This time last year I blogged about meeting Josh K from Josh and Josh Are Rich and Famous (check out “Blogging World meets Real World“) since he was a volunteer at Chelsea Challenge registration.
Over the past year he and I have stayed in touch as he’s been working towards making his hockey debut this summer. [...]
Chelesa Challenge Update: Purple Rain Solid in Game 1
Purple Rain came out strong in its first game in the Cheslea Challenge, winning with a score of 3-0 against the Green Miles. We captured 7 of the available 8 points for the game (each period is a mini-game so there are 8 points available for the game, 2 in each period and 2 for [...]

Only Want 2 See U In the Purple Rain
Chelsea Challenge 2008 is this coming weekend! It’s hard to believe this is my seventh challenge.
This year I am captaining Purple Rain in the developmental division. The team is a good mix of people I’ve played with, people I’ve played against and a couple people I just don’t know. We’ve got a goalie I know [...]
Ordinals Take Knights in OT
The Ordinals had a successful night against the Knights, taking them 6-5 in overtime. We needed the win because it gets us back to a winning record (4-3). Best of all it was a classic OT win. With 1:10 to go, we pulled Peter out of the net and then with about 35 seconds to [...]

Hockey The Musical! Makes New York Times
It’s great to see a project keep advancing… Hockey The Musical!, which I’ve written about several times before (just click on the tag above to find the other entries) was featured in today’s New York Times with an article about the show’s trip to Toronto to be in the Fringe Festival. You can check out [...]

Ordinals Hang Tough with Canucks

The Canucks and Hornets force us to become a better team. We’ve never beaten either of these teams and we push ourselves [...]

More Hockey Hotness
As if the hot goalie earlier this week wasn’t enough, there are more hot hockey players on the horizon. This is actor Dillon Casey, star of the new SoapNet drama MVP, which premieres on June 19. The show wants to be a Footballers Wives sort of show that focuses on “The Secret Lives of Hockey [...]

Stanley Cup 2008: Red Wings Bring It Home
Category: Hockey | tagged Detroit Red Wings, NHL, Pittsburgh Penguins
Fantastic game tonight. Pittsburgh gave Detroit a run for their money, but Detroit brought it home with a 3-2 game. It’s been a thrilling run for the Cup this season. I can’t believe how lucky I was to have my two favorite teams in the finals and for my hometown team to take the cup!
I’m [...]
Stanley Cup 2008: Soooo close!
Category: Hockey | tagged Detroit Red Wings, NHL, Pittsburgh Penguins
The Stanley Cup was out of its case being polished and then the Pittsburgh Penguins struck back!
Around 5 minutes to go in the third the Detroit Red Wings pulled ahead in game 5. Then with 35 seconds to go, the Penguins got one past goalie Chris Osgood to tie up the game.
Two and a half [...]
Goalie Hotness
Category: Hockey |
Okay, I don’t often do random hot guy posts. In fact, this might be my first. By this goalie, Serg Shebalin, is ridiculously hot. I found him in Will’s Exercise for Men magazine as part of the “Training for Hockey” article. Not only is there exceptional eye candy with the article, but I learned a [...]
