Season 21 of Dancing with the Stars opened a couple weeks ago. I’m enjoying a number of the dancers, including Bindi Irwin (who is just a bundle of positive energy and a good dancer), Nick Carter, Alexa & Carlos PenaVega, Hayes Grier (he’s adorable and a kid brother sort of way) and Andy Grammer. One who has really caught my eye though is Alek Skarlatos, the Army national guard captain who, with his friends, thwarted a terrorist attack on a train in Paris.
Alek is probably the closest to an everyman the show has ever had and it’s great each episode watching him learn his dances and perform them really well. The guy has talent and I suspect he’ll go far in the competition. Plus he’s quite attractive (yes, I admit, I’m hoping they get him out of the shirt at some point).
