Dance Dance Wednesday continues the run up to the June 7 2015 Tony Awards with a look back to 1990. Tommy Tune won for choreographing the brilliant Grand Hotel. Michael Jeter’s dancing at the bar is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen on stage. My first trip to New York to see shows included this show and his performance remains fresh in my mind (Jeter also won a Tony for this show). This clip is the complete performance from the 1990 Tony Awards, including the character introductions. Raise a glass….and enjoy!
