The top news of today is that Cycle for the Cause raised more than $450k for the HIV/AIDS Services provided by The LGBT Community Center in NYC.

I rode in to the closing ceremony holding area at about 2:10 this afternoon after completing approximately 64 miles of the 69 mile course. With so much of the route today on greenway paths, the support vehicles couldn’t drop me in behind the last riders today so I was on a very tight schedule of getting in and out of the rest stops. I rode strong today and got some excellent riding partners for the post-lunch stretch with Adam and Adrian along with Nelson and Renee.

It was a great day to cap a fantastic weekend.

I’ve got a lot more to write about today and the weekend, as well as get put some pictures up in an organized fashion. I’ll work on that part tomorrow while I’m recovering. For now though… it’s time to get some sleep in my own bed!

By the way… you can still donate and help raise the total even higher: http://ride12.kintera.org/jeffadams. It would be awesome if you could as I’d still like to get over the $4k mark! Please and thank you!
