This was the first single I ever bought. It was a 45 (ahh…analog). This is a clip I’ve never seen before. The watermark says its from BBC’s Top of the Pops and I have no reason to doubt it. Intercut with scenes from the movie are terrific shots of Irene hanging out in Times Square circa 1980, though the camera set-ups noticeably bypass the gritty sleaze of 42nd street (which is too bad really).
