It's some of the best choreography I've ever seen and some of the most innovative staging. Like RAGTIME, it remains, in my mind, a crime that it didn't enjoy a much longer run. When I lived in Eureka, CA, the machine was at the Lost Coast Brewery for months and I played it every time I was there. I love pinball anyway, so to play a machine that was based on a musical was a lot of fun. I guess we'll never be able to move away from it - and having said that - I love it still! There's a machine called 'Tommy' (based on the theme rather than featured in the movie) which plays lots of the music and commands quite a premium 2nd hand.
