Sounds like some kind of sale, right?
Sadly it’s not. Today is the first day of what is forecasted to be a four-day heatwave. Ick! (A heatwave is officially defined as three days or more with temperatures over 90 degrees). Today it hits 91 and tomorrow through Tuesday it’s headed for 95. With the humidity factored in, it’s possible it will feel like 100+ some of those days. In response to the heatwave, NYC has declared Air Quality Action Days and is encouraging people to take mass transit to help the air quality the city.
