What a great night of hockey last night. It was worth staying up late again (I did it Tuesday too) to watch the Red Wings completely pummel the Colorado Avalanche. A 1-1 score in the first period became an 8-2 Detroit win by the end of the third. The Red Wings were in top form and swept the series in four games! Conference finals are next for my home team!
Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Penguins should’ve swept out the Rangers last night too, but they folded a bit in game four to lose 3-0. Very disappointing. A sweep would’ve made the night even more perfect. They’ll try to put it away on Saturday and move on as well.
