A very simple hockey weekend with the holiday. I went to a very over crowded Ronnie’s this morning (near 40 people on the ice for the drills). It was a good time though. Laurie and I stayed paired for the drills and that’s always a good time.
The scrimmage was good–three lines so not too bad in the crowding department. It was a challenge as the opposing team had some quite good skaters, so I got to give my defensive skills a workout. Plus there were some children on the other team and that changes my game a bit because there’s no way I want to fall on them. It was a great time!
Next week it’s playoff time for the Wizards and Tigers. And, Ronnie’s drops back to an earlier time, back to 5 next week so that will lessen the crowd.
