Idina Menzel’s I Stand

We love Idina Menzel! We became fans when we saw her in the original company of Rent, where she played Maureen (she played the same role in the film). We saw her a couple years later when she took over the role of Amneris in Aida. Most recently we saw her in her Tony winning role as Elphaba in Wicked. She’s got an amazing voice and so it should be no surprise that we would pick up her just released album I Stand. It is fantastic and showcases her perfectly, and it is no wonder since she wrote or co-wrote all of the material!
