Sara & Craig: Yup, been talking about her a lot lately… but you should check out Sara Bareilles on TV this week. She’s singing on CBS’ The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on Wednesday night. The show airs at 12:35am (after Letterman) on the East Coast. Check your local listings and set your TiVo. And, in another example of “wow,” it’s just announced that Sara will be on tour with Maroon 5 this fall… and that brings her into Madison Square Garden in October!
Get Happy: Wondering who the Happiest Gay Couple in the World is? Apparently it’s Rick & Steve and their new show starts on Logo tonight at 10pm. As you can see, Rick & Steve (and actually their whole lot of friends) are toys. This show looks like a lot of fun and we can’t wait to check it out. Roll On!: Xanadu opens on Broadway tonight. I just want to wish them a good show tonight, and many happy reviews! The show is so much fun that it deserves to have a life. James Wolcott of Vanity Fair recently wrote on his blog: “It was like taking Ecstasy in Broadway ticket form.” I would love to see that quote hanging off the Xanadu marquee! Let’s hope the rest of the critics get on board with that.
