Stanley Cup Playoffs, Finals

It was a sad night in Hockeytown as the Red Wings lost to the Ducks last night, giving us a Ottawa/Anaheim pairing for the finals.

It’s quite disappointing about the Red Wings, especially this past Sunday’s game where they were leading and then blew it because of a late game penalty (with less than 2 minutes to go). Anaheim scored on the powerplay sending the game into overtime… which Anaheim won. (Good call on this, Roman… you predicted Anaheim was going to come out on top.)

The finals get started on Monday, and with Detroit out, I’m pulling for Ottawa to send the Ducks home without a cup.
