The Ordinals got a pre-season game in last night, against the Sled Dogs. Perfect timing too because the season starts up next week (the Flyers clinched the championship last night). We performed well last night, we had a great passing game…the best I’ve ever seen for the Ordinals. I’m not sure where we came up with this passing game from, because we weren’t moving the puck quite this good at the end of last season, but it was great to see. The one thing I hope we do is make our breakout moves faster. We tried to work on that a bit last night and it will be something we will need to keep an eye on. We were good positionally last night too… and we even kept our energy up even though we played for about 70 minutes with only one 2 or 3 minute time-out.
Next week we’ll see how it all comes together when we open the season against Hegemony.
