Well, Jeff and I finally made it to the movie theatre this past weekend and we saw Casino Royale. This ain’t your daddy’s James Bond. The “relaunch” of the franchise was long overdue and the movie is terrific. Eva Green is a great Bond girl. Not only is she sexy, but she matches wits with James outside the bedroom as well as in. I’m usually a purist when it comes to Bond (Sean Connery all the way) but Daniel Craig is exactly what the series needed, plus he’s just too hot for words.
A word of advice, Casino Royale is also longer than your average Bond film (2 hrs. 20mins.) so plan your beverage consumption and bathroom breaks accordingly.
